Metasilver - Campaign Platform
Transforming Online Communities to Physical Communities
Is there a way to mobilize Online Communities?
Yes there is!
Metasilver campaign platform connects Online Communities via a unique community builder platform. You can see this here.
How does it work?
Some user (already logged in) adds a Pin to a place nearby (some public place). He can also attach a message to his Pin (i.e "Hi guys am here for this reason").
Somebody also living in the region can add himself to the Pin. The Pin grows. When a group of people has joined this Pin they will actually meet (some cafe or public place).
When numerous Pins added to the map this physical communities can meet with other communities. The communication occurs over our platform.
During these steps and through democratic procedures this tiny groups vote for a representative. A structure starts to emerge.
Has this ever worked?
Yes, it has. Development started in 2011 for a political movement of the world famous composer Mikis Theodorakis (music for Zorba the Greek) and many others.
His movement called "Spark" needed such a system. He had a huge online community and people had to meet on the streets. Over 5.000 people joined our platform and created actual poweful communities in the real world.
The results shocked even us (5.316.492 views from 31/03/2011-29/04/2011 for a country with a population of 11 million).
This was the connected facebook page. No one can doupt these statitistics therefore showing it.
Why is Facebook not enough?
Facebook is a world famous and very popular social network... with privacy concerns.
Regarding mobilization of communities it lacks vital functionality
- There is no actual "Timeline". Facebook decides what you see. Pages with 100.000 members have a view-rate of less than 10%. You have to pay in order to increase that.
- Online check-in is temporary and not organized based on Geo Location.
- Facebook is a private organization. It has the right to remove any post or entire pages if its algorithms decide to do so. For no reason. Have you ever read the agreement when creating a page or a group?
- Security. Privacy has been a major issue for Facebook over the years.
- Discussions can not be organized into topics.
- Custom modules are not allowed of course.
Facebook has the right without further explanation to take over the management of your page. It says so in its terms.
Democracy converted into software
This is the old schematic about its basic function. A newer version exists.
This is the actual meaning of Democracy. People with common ideas, visions, attitudes, opinions gathering in small teams in order to present and realize whatever they are interested or bothered with.
(Democracy (Greek: δημοκρατία, Dēmokratía literally "rule of the commoners"), in modern usage, is a system of government in which the citizens exercise power directly or elect representatives from among themselves to form a governing body, such as a parliament. Democracy is sometimes referred to as "rule of the majority”).
Cleisthenes, "father of Athenian democracy"
We continued developing this system after 2011. Nowadays it features the latest available web technologies. Things like friends, social media integration, private messages, forum administrators, Wysiwyg editor and of course state of the art security.
Yes, we have such a powerful tool.
Will you use it?Friday, 01 June 2018 (15:07:32)
